We do not disclose any information about any of our customers and your personal details are protected by our secure servers. When you give us your credit card details, they are encrypted for additional security.
We recognise that your privacy is very important to you and that you have a right to control your Personal Information.
You can visit howrahplumbing.com.au without disclosing any personal information and we will not collect any Personal Information about you except when you willingly provide it.
Howrah Plumbing Pty. Ltd. may only use your personal information to send you our email newsletter which keeps our customers up to date and informed about our latest offers and specials.
As a customer if you do not wish to receive this service we provide an unsubscribe button in the email, if you wish to again subscribe to this service you can res subscribe through our website.
Personal information will not be released to persons or entities outside our organization without your consent except where:
(a) such disclosure is permitted under the Privacy Act; or when
(b) Howrah Plumbing Pty. Ltd. is required by law to disclose information to third parties
Exchanges
Please contact our customer service team to discuss your exchange on (03) 62447022 or email office@howrahplumbing.com.au
Customer Support will email you an Exchange/Return Slip to be placed inside the return package. Follow the instructions given. As soon as the return has been received, a replacement product will be shipped or exchanged.
Items may also be exchanged at the Howrah Plumbing Pty. Ltd. store, but only after you have been notified by the customer service team.
IMPORTANT
- The return must be received by howrahplumbing.com.au within (14) fourteen days from dispatch.
- All returns must have return slip included.
- Do not under any circumstances send the goods back without notice. Howrah Plumbing Pty. Ltd. will take no responsibility for goods that are sent back by the customer if lost or stolen before arriving.
- If the order was placed incorrectly by yourself you will be charged a minimum $10.00 but maximum $20.00 return courier fee depending on location.
- Alternatively, if you wish to avoid a courier fee please visit Howrah Plumbing Pty. Ltd. store.
- Unfortunately we do not exchange any items classified as heavy/bulky or over 20kg.
Returns
In Store Purchases
Products purchased from a Howrah Plumbing Pty. Ltd. store may be returned to Howrah Plumbing for an exchange or Credit voucher. Unfortunately in store purchases cannot be returned to the online department, however the customer service team will be happy to assist you with exchanging your purchase at a store where possible.
Online Purchases
If you are not happy with your product that was purchased on-line for any reason, howrahplumbing.com.au is happy to exchange it or provide you with a credit voucher/coupon on your customer account, providing the product is returned to us in its original condition, undamaged and unopened. The customer will pay all freight charges.
If goods are faulty, wrongly described or different from a sample shown, you may choose between a refund or exchange
Defective Items
Defective items must be returned to Howrah plumbing Pty. Ltd. within (14) fourteen days of the purchase date to be eligible for replacement. Depending on the fault, certain products may need to be returned to the manufacturer for inspection. Items will be replaced with the same item originally purchased. For items that cannot be replaced, you will be provided with a credit voucher/coupon on your customer account
Returning a Bulky Item

All return fees are at customer’s expense. Service work requested on site will attract a call out fee. Call out fee may be waived at the discretion of Howrah plumbing Pty. Ltd. if fault is found to be due to manufacturing or installation error. Warranty is voided by misuse or abuse of items and equipment, if improperly installed or tampered with by the purchaser or if used in hire applications. All servicing or repair work will be changed at our standard rates. Warranty period does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, accidents or abuse while in possession of the current purchaser.
Warranty
Limited to the warranty offered by the suppliers of goods installed.
Labour component of warranty is 12 months from date of installation.
Security -most of this needs checking
Howrah Plumbing Pty. Ltd. has put a number of protections in place to ensure that your transactions are extremely safe and that your information is secure.
HTTPS Protection
HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol over Secure Socket Layer, or HTTP over SSL) is a Web protocol developed by Netscape and built into its browser that encrypts and decrypts user page requests as well as the pages that are returned by the Web server. HTTPS is the use of Netscape’s Secure Socket Layer (SSL) as a sub layer under its regular HTTP application layering. SSL uses a 40-bit key size for the RC4 stream encryption algorithm.
Our site will automatically transfer you from the HTTP site to a HTTPS page when collecting your personal and payment details.
Browser Pad-Lock
When transacting via our secure server, your credit card and personal details are encrypted using the latest industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) 128 Bit encryption technology before being sent over the Internet. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. You can tell you are in secure (SSL) mode when a little padlock appears on the bottom of the screen.
